For networks, associations, and sending churches
If you lead a network, an association, a denomination's regional work, or a healthy church that sends out planters, you already know the truth I'm about to say. Most of your planters are bivocational. Most were born in another country. Most are doing remarkable things with almost no support structure, because there hasn't been time or money to build one.
I've spent seven years inside exactly that situation, walking with more than eighty planters across a region, and I've learned that a small amount of the right support, offered at the network level, changes what happens in dozens of churches at once. One church can fund a booklet. A network can fund a cohort, a retreat, a shared library, or a rhythm of care that no single church could afford alone.
A short word about cost
I received everything I know for free. People poured into me when I had nothing to give back, and charging for this work doesn't come naturally to me. But I've learned that serving is healthiest when it's mutual, when both of us bring something to the table.
These prices let me do this well, for many leaders, for a long time. They're a starting point, not a wall. If your church can pay them, thank you, and you're making it possible for me to serve a church that can't.
And if your church can't, please don't let that stop you from reaching out. I would hate for a leader to go without help because of money. Tell me honestly where you are, and I'll explore how I can serve you anyway. Nobody has ever been turned away over money, and nobody will be.
Twelve leaders at a time, three months, working on strategy, core team, and sustainability with peers who understand their life. Run it once, or run it every quarter as the on-ramp for every new planter you endorse.
Real rest for planting families, with childcare, good food, and a few sessions on living whole for the long haul. In my experience this is one of the most effective things a network can do for retention, because these families almost never get a break, and they don't forget who gave them one.
Instead of every planter building their own new-believer guide, membership class, and support letter, I build a set your whole network can use and adapt, in the languages your planters serve. Built once, used everywhere.
A consistent, honest look at each plant across the four marks of health, so you and your planters have a shared language and a clear plan for the year, and you can see across the whole region where support is most needed.
If you have people who walk with planters, I can help them do it well in honour-based cultures: how to see potential before it's visible, how to coach across language and culture, how to frame assessment as formation instead of a test.
If churches from outside Canada want to send teams to your planters, I'll help you build a structure that strengthens your planters instead of exhausting them: small teams, high frequency, clusters instead of one-to-one, and clear expectations about which “scene of the movie” a visiting team is walking into.
A single theme, one day, with a doctor or counsellor alongside me: rest, marriage, body, money, or grief. Bring every planter you have.
I'm glad to come and speak to your planters, your pastors, or your partners on relational evangelism, lifestyle church planting, diaspora leadership, or the health of the leader. In English or Korean.
Usually it starts with one thing. A cohort, a gathering, a set of resources. We see how it lands with your planters, and then we talk about what a rhythm could look like over a year. I'm happy to work alongside your existing staff and structures rather than around them, and I'll always be clear about scope and cost before we begin. If your network's budget is thin, say so. I'd rather find a way to serve your planters than have them go without.
Tell me how many, where, and what languages. I'll tell you where I'd start.
