Make Disciples

From stranger, to friend, to follower, to someone who follows Jesus on their own.

A crowd is not a church. What turns a gathering into a church is when people are actually being formed by Jesus, step by step, with someone walking beside them.

Most pastors I know have wonderful teaching and nothing to put in a new believer's hands on Monday. They've preached hundreds of sermons, and most of them are gone. The teaching was real, the fruit was real, but nothing was built that could keep working after Sunday.

This is where I do most of my work. You already teach. I take what you've already taught, in whatever shape it's in (sermon notes, recordings, voice memos, a Bible study you run), and turn it into something people can hold, use, and pass on.

How it works

1

You send me what you have

Recordings, notes, voice memos, a study you already run. Any language, any shape.

2

I learn your voice

I listen and read until I can hear how you'd say it, then I draft.

3

You react, we fix

You'll usually say “that's what I meant, but say it like this.” Good. That's the point.

4

You get something finished

Formatted properly, in every language you serve, ready to print, share, or post.

You keep teaching. I make sure it sticks. See samples of what this looks like.

What working together looks like

A short word about cost

I received everything I know for free. People poured into me when I had nothing to give back, and charging for this work doesn't come naturally to me. But I've learned that serving is healthiest when it's mutual, when both of us bring something to the table.

These prices let me do this well, for many leaders, for a long time. They're a starting point, not a wall. If your church can pay them, thank you, and you're making it possible for me to serve a church that can't.

And if your church can't, please don't let that stop you from reaching out. I would hate for a leader to go without help because of money. Tell me honestly where you are, and I'll explore how I can serve you anyway. Nobody has ever been turned away over money, and nobody will be.

Your discipleship pathway

A one-page picture of how someone moves from first visit to mature disciple in your church, and the handful of tools that support each step. Two conversations, a written pathway, and a list of what you already have and what's missing. Many churches start here and then build the missing pieces one at a time.

$1,200

A book from your teaching

If you've been teaching the same thing for fifteen years, it may be time to turn it into a manuscript your people and other churches can read. I'll help you shape the structure, draft from your recordings and notes, work through it with you chapter by chapter, and get it ready for print or self-publishing.

We start with a free conversation about whether the book is ready to be written.

If you're an elder or board member

Commissioning a guide or a book from your pastor's teaching honours his work and gives your church tools for years. Some churches do this as an anniversary gift. Here's how.
